Stauffenberg - Confrontations with the assassination attempt of July 20, 1944. The Stauffenberg-Block I-XVI 1969 (2024) by Katharina Sieverding (*1941), will be shown for the first time with the etching cycle Wie ein Totentanz - Die Ereignisse vom 20. Juli 1944 (1974) by the Austrian artist Alfred Hrdlicka (1928-2009). The confrontation on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Claus Schenk Graf von Stauffenberg's assassination attempt on Hitler is accompanied by the Department of Art History at the University of Trier and sponsored by the Rhineland-Palatinate State Center for Political Education.
