Leunora Salihu has developed a distinctive language in sculpture. In her complex work, Salihu deals with very elementary themes of sculpture: constructive and organic building methods, movement in static form, the relationship between inside and outside, space and surrounding space, the sculpture- pedestal problem. Her works are based on a principle of modular construction from manually manufactured elements. These sculptures and spatial bodies, which differ greatly in material, shape and size, brim with energy and at the same time seem to rest in themselves in a special way.
