The renowned Chilean artist, winner of the 2013 National Arts Award, presents a series of works never before presented in Chile, as part of the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the coup d'état. Curated by Pablo Chuminatto, the exhibition Alfredo Jaar. El lado oscuro de la luna addresses the impact produced in the country by the coup, the exile and the US intervention in Latin American politics. It also presents some new explorations of the same milestones that affected and continue to affect post-dictatorship Chilean society.
