The exhibition Schwarzes Licht. Positionen des Erhabenen in der zeitgenössischen Kunst (Black light. Positions of the sublime in contemporary art) poses the question of the sublime in contemporary art. From painted pictures to room installations to photographs or slide projections it is shown that reference is made to the sublime again and again today, but that it is also broken or ironicized.
